One year ago this month, our dear friends at Biblioguides launched their new database and beautiful community. And what a year it has been! Just a few weeks later, we began laying the groundwork for the Plumfield Moms podcast. Sarah Kim and Tanya Arnold were some of our first guests on the podcast and, since then, have been back every few weeks! We are so proud of being a Partner Guide at Biblioguides and are so grateful to them for their meaningful and life-giving collaboration, both on their site and on ours.
Long-time readers of our blog will know that our mission is to come alongside the mama and try to make her journey through this beautiful vocation a little easier. We review books to help her find excellent options for herself and her family. We host the Plumfield Moms podcast to bring useful and interesting guests and series to her attention. And, we throw our whole hearts into the Plumfield Reads book clubs so that the mama can better preview books for her family and/or have an excellent book club for her own enrichment. This is why we love Biblioguides so much! They are doing the same kind of work with their ever-growing database. Not only can mamas organize their books and do research in Biblioguides, but they can also follow excellent guides, connect with other bookish friends, and they can use Biblioguides to source hard-to-find books that are worth pursuing.
Our collaboration is just a year old, but we are just getting started. We have so many exciting things coming that we hope will continue to help mamas and those who are also helping mamas. Stay tuned!
